Jai Hind

Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely. What could be a better example here than our bourgeois political system and parties which are hitting new low everyday with tons of scams and scandals. On top of that, vote bank politics and politics-corporate nexus is something that never goes out of fashion. No matter what, they are untouchable to our judiciary system.

Every time I see this, it reminds me "Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's need, but not every man's greed". What is more disturbing is that, while middle class values are slowly on erosion, the legacy our politicians are passing by doing large scale corruption with a formidable stand is more dangerous. The result, India ranks 9th in corruption and 54% paid bribe to get official things done.

India is in dire need of leaders. Few who I see, are victim of media massacre. While others are being forcibly projected under political and media patronage.

The only hope India has is its ever regenerting middle class who outshines itself and brings glory in more than one way with its sheer indomitable spirit and passion to excel and make mark in the ever competing world. I hope, they rise one day.
