Life is a Quest !!!

Life is a Quest......These few words define the purpose of life. The life, which has a beginning and an end, comes with an objective. The objective is very simple to define, but very hard to digest and observe for many. Wikipedia says "Life is a condition that distinguishes organisms from non-living objects, such as non-life, and dead organisms, being manifested by growth through metabolism and reproduction. Some living things can communicate and many can adapt to their environment through changes originating internally."

Life is a wonderful gift. A gift that has the potential to explore the limitless. A gift that can convert imagination to realty. A gift that can explore the true self. A gift that can put an end to the Quest.

Life starts in the womb of a mother. It descends on earth upon delivery. It lives on. It has the natural luster. It grows up…. completes various phases of life. Fulfills various responsibilities and duties. Becomes a part of the society. Grows old and dies. We say, life has come to an end. But, is it end or the beginning?

Death is just an announcement of a new beginning.

We see life as a distance between birth and death. Death is must for any living entity in this world. This also engulfed the Avatars of GOD. Death is the most dreaded factor of life for any living being. This is applicable to not only the humans but also animals and other forms of life. The fear of death is the biggest fear. What we forget is, both Birth and Death are natural and gift of GOD.

There is none who can defy death. But, what makes death the most dreadful of all ? It is fearful to people who don't know the art of living. It is fearful for people who underestimate self. It is fearful for people who love their material body in spite of the truth. It is fearful for the people who lack Krishna consciousness.

The truth remains; Death announces only the end of the physical manifested journey. Everything that a person has accumulated in terms of material are wasted with end of body.

Is the rebirth must continue after death? Not always. After gaining self-realization and enlightenment, one becomes immortal. You becomes one with GOD, away from the bodily sufferings.

We have forgotten the purpose of life. While death is enforced by the higher force, what a person is supposed to do during his living period? The purpose I am talking about is not set by me. This is set by the supreme personality of God Head.....Lord Krishna.

If we look around, we witness how human kind has made rapid progress in the arena of material comfort, education, economic development, medicine etc. On the other side, we see degradation in humanity and family values, shaky social foundation, intolerance, wars, violence etc. Development is good. But anything that crumbles the society and human values is evil. We all feel, there is a need as to how the human kind can lead a peaceful and meaningful life?

The solution is simple. The implementation is simple too. But, who is buying?

The wisdom of Srimad Bhagvad Gita will fill this need. The supreme knowledge delivered by Lord Krishna personally in this earth has the solution. Truthfulness, values and justice are the key factors. Human being, just a tiny living entity sometimes thinks of himself as a capable force with few discoveries and inventions. They have collected hand full of sands; the beach is yet there unaffected. Ever a thought appears as to who has created the universe, solar system which works in a very cohesive manner?

For the society to survive, it has to posses dharmas, values, justice, truthfulness. These virtues are diminishing day by day. One day, when the vices will weigh more then virtues, when the honest and truthfulness will be prosecuted, when the dharma looses its foundation, GOD appears. He appears to establish dharma. 

This has happened before and this will happen now. During Tretaya, Shree Rama appeared to kill the demons, especially Ravana who was instrumental in destroying dharma and a hindrance to the establishment peace and harmony.

Again Lord Krishna appeared to bring justice to the society and establish Dharma.

Again a day will come, when the glitter of money, gold and diamonds would be passe. Body will no more seen as a enjoyable object. The spiritual wisdom would become the order of the day. A new yuga will prevail and will be ruled by dharma and honesty.
